Walk Through The Valley, is a fictional melodramatic crime suspense, centered around intimacy and deception. It was written to exemplify the lives of the women and men who have loved and those who pretend to love. Walk Through The Valley also focuses on masked intentions in human relationships as it pertains to truth and motive. It's the heart of the piece that characterizes suffering, revenge and survival. However fictional, it hits home for so many, as infidelity is an ever existing reality, and so is greed. This film is dedicated to the many women and men who suffered through the journey of revelation and pain as well as those who have yet to experience it. How does one handle a relationship when money is at risk, and what does one do when their life is in jeopardy?

Filmed on Dec. 15, 1990. On a rainy day, I have a walk through the early Soho. I begin my walk on 80 Wooster Street and continue towards the Williamsburg bridge, where, 58 minutes later, still raining, my walk ends. As I walk, occasionally I talk about what I see or I tell some totally unrelated little stories that come to my mind as I walk. This video was my early exercise in the one-shot video form. There are no cuts in this video.

In 2019, Tony Award winning actor Gavin Creel visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the first time. The result was Walk On Through: Confessions of a Museum Novice, which Creel performed in 2021 at MetLiveArts and brought to a full off-Broadway run in 2023 at MCC Theater. Following Creel’s death in 2024, the Met has made his performance available for the first time.
